Part one

The Part One Examination is held in March, June and October per year in various venues throughout each year.

The examination is made up of 120 multiple choice questionnaire taken from:

  • Clinical data interpretation
  • Radiological and imaging investigations
  • General paediatric surgery
  • Paediatric oncology
  • Neonatal surgery
  • Genito urinary surgery
  • Paediatric trauma and burn care
  • Paediatric critical care
  • Statistics, research, audit, history, and ethics
