European board of paediatric surgery examination section

The EBPS has the authority to organise an examination to certify candidates
who have completed their training in paediatric surgery in centres recognised by the European Board.

European Board of Paediatric Surgery Examination

Welcome to the European Board of Paediatric Surgery Examination Section.

You will find on this website details of forthcoming exams, how to register, what is involved, details about examiners and successful candidates, and some sample questions and reading lists.

Please note that as yet, the EBPS Examination is not legally recognised.

However, the Turkish Association of Paediatric Surgeons has recently accepted the EBPS examination as their recognised exit qualification and it is hoped that more European countries will follow the lead of Turkey.

The Glasgow Declaration (June 2007) allows non-European trained paediatric surgeons to sit the exam and be registered with the European Board as a worldwide candidate.
